Jean-Baptiste Chandelier’s Paragliding Videos are AmazingAugust 24, 2018 10:40 pm
When it comes to producing Paragliding videos, Jean-Baptiste Chandelier and his film crew are the undisputed champions. With some of his free flight flics reaching over 37 million views, JB’s videos are inspiring not just paragliding pilots but everyday people and film producers as well.
In his “Touch” video Jean-Baptiste Chandelier, Jim Nougarolles, and his film crew travel to several scenic locations ranging from the sunny seaside cliffs of the Greek Islands to the snow covered slopes of the Swiss Alps. JB is known for incorporating man made structures and natural geography into his stunts. This video doesn’t disappoint.
Planning an Aerial Photo Shoot
Most of their videos flow smoothly and create the illusion that the action is endless but the reality is that these take weeks and months to pull together. Even with the best laid plans you still need perfect pilot timing and cooperative weather to get these radical shots. They spend plenty of time sitting on mountains waiting for the right combination of winds and clouds. The video below gives some insights into the planning process.
Jean-Baptiste choreographed this video promoting Tristan Shu and his Elinchrom Flash. Watch to the end to see some stunning footage of Turkey’s most scenic beach. And of course some killer shots of paragliding and Wingsuit flying.Next: Jean-Baptiste Chandelier’s Weightless Video >>
